Fibre Internet

Fibre Internet

Fibre Internet is a fantastic choice for internet users since it can provide ultra-fast Internet connection speeds ranging from lower Megabit speeds (50Mbps, 100Mbps, etc) up to Gigabit speeds and beyond (1000Mbps, 2000Mbps, etc). However, true Gigabit speeds cannot be delivered when the base infrastructure is not designed to cater to them, even though the Internet connections may be delivered by Fibre.
With GigaComm having its own fibre network infrastructure designed to deliver multi-Gigabit internet services simultaneously, the delivery of true Gigabit internet services is possible and you can gain internet speeds of up to 1000Mbps with Gigabit internet connections through GigaComm, one of Australia’s leading nbn alternatives for fast speeds and consistently reliable connectivity.

What is Fibre Internet with G.fast?

There are many ways that broadband can be accessed through a building, with the majority being through slower nbn and other VDSL2 technologies. However, with that said, fibre broadband is available in some locations. These fibre broadband services may be faster than VDSL2 and able to achieve medium speeds (200 - 400Mbps) although they are unlikely to reliably achieve Gigabit speeds due to (nbn) infrastructure not designed to deliver these speeds across a wide population.
GigaComm is building a private fibre network connecting buildings to provide multi-gigabit connectivity to those buildings, and then connect the ‘last mile’ within the building via the newest G.fast DSL technology. Using G.fast technology guarantees gigabit speeds to the end-user since the ‘last-mile’ access technology is not shared across the greater fibre network within a given suburb. These are direct Gigabit connections.
This G.fast and fibre connection to the internet from GigaComm, means faster and more reliable speeds at all times of the day.
